Weapons auto-fire on cooldown. Level them at pickups, then pair the right weapon and passive to forge devastating synergies and evolutions.

Mastering a weapon (via kills) unlocks its enhanced mastery effect.

Combine Two Weapons
Carry both weapons in a synergy pair to unlock a powerful fused weapon. Plan ahead with the Synergy Codex in the hub.

Drones that rapidly fire piercing beams.

Weapon + Passive = Evolved
Max a base weapon and hold its matching passive upgrade to evolve it — usually 2–4× more powerful and visually distinct.
Massive piercing beam that explodes on impact.
Heals 1% of damage dealt (up to 5% Max HP/swing) and covers screen.
Indestructible drones that rapidly shoot lasers.
Blue flames that persist and melt everything.
Triple-pulse dark energy burst, each pulse harder than the last.
Massive repulsion and retaliates with missiles.
Multiple massive blades that ricochet wildly.

Recommended starter builds
Rush one of these from your first few level-ups. Grab the base weapon, then its partner pick, and don't dilute with off-plan picks.
🔥 Burn Bruiser
Zero-G Napalm + Plasma Whip → Flaming Lash, then push Plasma Core to evolve Napalm into Hellfire. Persistent fire shreds dense waves and tanks.
⚡ Beam Sniper
Cosmic Nap Beam + Nova Pulse → Laser Nova; stack Spatial Expander to evolve the beam into Supernova Beam. Huge piercing damage for bosses.
🛰️ Drone Fortress
Orbital Drones + Cosmic Nap Beam → Orbital Lasers; add Hyperdrive Fuel to evolve into the indestructible Orbital Defense Network. Great for survival/Endless.
🩸 Vampire Whip
Plasma Whip + Nano-Repair Bots → Vampiric Lash. Lifesteal on a screen-wide swing keeps fragile pilots alive on long runs.
How evolutions actually work
An evolution needs two things at once: the base weapon at max level (master it via kills) and its specific matching passive upgrade equipped. Hold both into a level-up and the evolved weapon is offered. Each base weapon has exactly one evolution partner — see the table above.
Equippable Artifacts
Craft relics with relic fragments and slot up to 3. Level them 1→5, and from Season 6 prestige them up to PL5 for stacking multiplicative bonuses.
